Resilience

Two years ago today, I underwent open heart surgery at UCLA. It was the single most terrifying day of my life, a day that has left me forever changed, in many more ways than one. Two years later, I am healthy, strong and resilient: a survivor. I am so thankful, and so very blessed. Today is a beautiful day.
